Królestwo Planety Małp - nowe otwarcie, na dobre czy na złe?

Cezar umiera, a po wiele lat po jego odejściu, znajdujemy się na powrót na Planecie Małp, ale w zupełnie nowym rozdaniu wraz z bohaterami, których dopiero poznajemy.

Nowe rozdania zawsze niosą ze sobą pytanie: czy warto? Lub może czy nie lepiej pozostawić niektóre sagi filmowe zamknięte, wraz z sukcesem jaki osiągnęły. Ciężko oceniać po pierwszym z zapewne serii filmów z nowymi bohaterami.

Muszę przyznać, że nie do końca podoba mi się wprowadzony zabieg, dotyczący wyglądu głównego bohatera tego filmu a wyglądu Cezara, który pamiętamy z poprzednich filmów. Określiłabym go jako łudząco podobny jeśli nawet nie, identyczny.

Historia (niezbyt ciekawa), nie pozwala wciągnąć się w film a w pewnych momentach plot twisty są tak przewidywalne, że aż nudne. Elementem ratującym (jak i w większości filmów i seriali w których bierze udział), jest Freya Allan, która odgrywa bez wątpienia jedną z najlepszych ról w swojej karierze.

Na plus należy zaliczyć lub też zauważyć postęp technologiczny, obserwowanych w komputerowych kreacjach tytułowych małp.

Końcowa scena daje do myślenia - czy my, ludzie potrafilibyśmy żyć w zgodzie z rozumnymi małpami, skoro w obecnych czasach nie potrafimy żyć w zgodzie między sobą?

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes - new beginning, for good or for the worst?

Cezar dies and many years after his death we are coming back to the Planet of the Apes, but! It is completely new beginning with new heroes that we are discovering piece by piece.

New openings of old stories are always bringing up one question: is it worth it? Or maybe some sagas should be remain closed with the success that they have reached. It's hard to give an opinion after just the first one of (from what it appears as) the several movies with new heroes.

I must admit, I am not the biggest fan of adapting the faces and looks to the previous characters by using CGI - they are simillar yet are we starting something new or just using the original plot to attract the fanbase.

The plot (not particulary interesting), doesn't allow you to fully submerge into the action and the twist are just boring and predictable. The element that is saving the movie is for sure the marvelous acting from Freya Allan.

I do see tho, the improvement on the technical side for the apes creations.

The final scene is made for throwing us into the deeper conversation about our existence as a human kind - would we be able to exist with the human-like apes if sometimes we cannot stand the other human next to us?
